Bedford Station Stopover & Gallery

Wayne and Leo have hosted for MisterB&b for over 5 years now. We are located on Route 6 in Bedford - a mere 8 minute drive from Charlottetown in a quiet country setting. Our house is a four level side-split, allowing us to set aside a level entirely for guests; private bedroom, family room and bathroom. The treed backyard is fenced in for total privacy. During the off season (mid Sept - end Dec), an upstairs bedroom (only) is available (see pic) with bathroom shared with hosts. The regular bedroom is reserved for students during the academic year.

Wait until you step outside into our backyard! We KNOW you're here to sightsee and enjoy the Island, but when you need some downtime - our backyard is the answer. Our spacious all-season gazebo offers indoor comfort with a view. An outdoor hot tub and adjacent private shower allows for a presoak and post rinse. Ample seating everywhere, simply find your favourite spot. Want to enjoy an evening campfire? Wayne loves having a fire ablaze in the firepit area (unless fire restrictions dictate otherwise). Want to grab some rays? Feel free to lie out on our sunny tanning deck. How about an afternoon snooze? Your hammock awaits. A leisurely stroll through the colourful gardens can invigorate the start of your day or bring it to a gentle close. Yes - We LOVE our property and we want you to enjoy it as much as we do!

Although the top floor is private, much of the house is shared so there's loads of space. The main floor features a mud room for laundry. An adjoining kitchen and dining room is yours for the asking should you wish to fix up your own meal. There's even a BBQ out on the back deck for grilling. The main floor also boasts an elegant living room where Leo can often be found playing the grand piano. He even takes requests (with tip jar in plain view, of course). The dining room opens out to the backyard through double garden doors. We ALL share this space and entranceway.

Six steps down takes you to your own private level. YES - you get it all to yourself; a large family room complete with reading nook, games table and seating, an upright grand piano if you happen to play, or cozy up on the sectional and catch some Netflix on the flat screen.

The bedroom boasts a vintage Double four poster bed - "perfect for one - cozy for two". A roomy closet, dresser and a smaller flat screen TV .

The private bathroom features a walk in shower, sink, toilet and vanity.

Opening Canada Day July 1 the on site Bedford Station Gallery! Who doesn't need an ART fix from time to time. As an overnight guest - you get to enjoy the gallery to yourself, even after hours. While you're out and about during the day enjoying PEI, the Gallery will be open to the general public.
