Prior to checking in you will receive a personalized door code for the electronic lock on the front door. You will need to press # followed by your code followed again by the # key to unlock the door. When going out, hold down the # key to lock the door. Please always leave the back sliding door locked unless you are using the deck or hot tub. There is a ring doorbell camera at the front entrance that must remain on for security reasons and cannot be covered up or tampered with; doing so could forfeit your ******** or force us to cancel your stay immediately. You have access to the entire home as well as backyard, deck, and hot tub. Please do not go into the two locked areas downstairs as those are owners closets and are off limits. Please be courteous to the neighbors and keep noise and volumes to a minimum as the home is in a quiet residential area. Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, please be respectful. No professional or amateur filming of any kind allowed on property without prior written permission and authorization. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no "smoking" includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and "use of fire" includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed. Smoking is allowed in the designated fire pit area and all cigarette butts are to be disposed of in the garbage. We are now DOG FRIENDLY for all house broken dogs. All dogs should be crated when there is no home. Please pick up any solid waste your pet creates outside. No wee wee pads are to be used inside the home. Thermostat There is a baseboard thermostat in each room that controls the heat in that room, during the colder months please ensure they are set to no lower than 60 degrees and no higher than 75 degrees. During the warmer months there are window air conditioning units placed in the bedrooms and main living/dining area; please ensure these are turned off prior to departing at the end of your stay. Kitchen The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils as well as an array of spices and coffee accoutrements. These are meant to be used during your stay but please leave behind anything that was at the house upon your arrival. There is a traditional coffee maker and espresso maker with instructions on use. Please be sure to empty used grounds from both coffee makers prior to leaving the property. We provide dishwasher packs so that you may use the dishwasher during your stay. Please only use designated dishwasher detergent and be sure to run the dishwasher prior to departing at the end of your stay. Please be sure to clean any and all kitchen items that were used during your stay. Also, please do not pour any grease or oil down the kitchen sink as this could damage our septic system. Bathrooms Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets as the house is on a septic system which can be damaged. There is also hair dryers and other toiletries provided in each bathroom for your stay. Again, please leave anything at the house that was there upon your arrival.
