In the heart of the Charolais countryside, near Paray-le-Monial and Charolles, our house built in 1850 welcomes you to a quiet, warm, and judgment-free setting.
On Misterb&b, we offer the entire second floor for your private use. It consists of a large open space divided into several sleeping areas, separated by screens to ensure everyone’s privacy. While the rooms aren’t fully partitioned, the entire floor is reserved exclusively for you during your stay.
You’ll have access to the second-floor bathroom, which may be shared depending on the house’s occupancy and can be reserved for your exclusive use upon request, subject to availability. You’ll also have access to fiber-optic Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Breakfast is included, and parking is free. You’re also welcome to enjoy the house’s common areas.
The house has been intentionally preserved to retain its historic character: some rooms have been recently renovated, while others retain more of their original charm. The photos also show the main common areas so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
We chose Misterb&b because we love to host in a gay, friendly, open, and sex-positive spirit. The house is also kink-friendly: everyone should be able to enjoy their stay in their own way, without judgment, while respecting each person’s privacy, desires, and, above all, boundaries.
That doesn’t mean, however, that your stay has to involve anything sexual or kinky: some guests simply come to explore the region, relax, or enjoy the peace and quiet. Others appreciate staying in a place where they know they can be themselves. In any case, discretion, consent, and mutual respect are essential.
Depending on your preferences and our availability, we can share a drink, chat, recommend some great spots, or simply let you quietly enjoy your private floor.
The house is located about an 8-minute bike ride from EuroVelo 6, a 10-minute drive from the Paray-le-Monial and Génelard TER train stations, and about 40 minutes from the Le Creusot–Montceau–Montchanin TGV station. Depending on our availability, we can also arrange to pick you up at the train station.
By car, it takes about 50 minutes to reach Chalon-sur-Saône, 40 minutes to Mâcon, and 1 hour and 40 minutes to Lyon.
Nearby, you can explore Digoine Castle, Paray-le-Monial, Charolles, Digoin and its canal bridge, as well as the Relais de Champlecy.
A little further away are Bourbon-Lancy and its thermal baths, the castles of Drée and La Clayette, Cluny Abbey, and the Le PAL amusement and wildlife park.
Every morning, we serve a French-style breakfast consisting of bread, butter, and jam, accompanied by coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, depending on your preference.
We enjoy hosting guests in a simple, welcoming way—sharing our favorite spots, talking about food, local activities, or the region—while fully respecting those who prefer their peace and quiet.
Free parking is available about 50 meters from the house. Two parking spaces can also be provided in our courtyard upon request.
Finally, an electric vehicle charging station can be made available upon request.
Protect your payments: never communicate outside of misterb&b (website or app) and never transfer money outside our secure system.

Located in the heart of the Charolais countryside, the region doesn’t really have any specific LGBTQ+ venues or scenes in the immediate vicinity. It’s more of a destination for enjoying the tranquility, heritage, cuisine, and landscapes of the bocage.
About ten minutes away, you can explore Paray-le-Monial and its basilica, Charolles with its narrow streets and pottery workshops, as well as the Château de Digoine and its events.
Food lovers will also find several excellent restaurants in the area, notably in Charolles at Maison Frédéric Doucet, a Michelin-starred establishment.
About 30 to 45 minutes away, you can visit Le PAL, an amusement and wildlife park; La Clayette and its castle; Bourbon-Lancy and its thermal baths; or Cluny and its abbey.
The Charolais region is also particularly well-suited for excursions—whether by bike or by car—through villages, meadows, and small country roads.
For nightlife and LGBTQ+ venues, you’ll need to head to larger cities.
Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated areas: outdoors, in the barn, or in the kitchen. Pets are welcome as long as they are house-trained, calm, and kept under supervision. The yard is not yet fully fenced. The house is gay-friendly, sex-positive, and kink-friendly, but respect for boundaries, consent, and everyone’s personal space is essential. Outside visitors are not permitted without prior approval. If other guests are staying here, please be considerate of the peace and quiet of the house, the common areas, and the other occupants. The bathroom on the second floor may be shared depending on the house’s occupancy. Exclusive use may be arranged upon request and subject to availability. The sleeping areas on the second floor are reserved for guests who have made a reservation.

Gaétan and Vivien are very friendly and particularly charming hosts. The room is very comfortable and the overall accommodation is pleasant to live in. I highly recommend!
A great stay 😊 Thank you both
Perfect welcome and stay. Gaëtan was very helpful and available. Breakfast with no constraints, with great friendly conversations. A highly recommendable stop in South Burgundy 😉!
Gaetan and Vivien are hosts of great kindness and friendliness. They opened the doors of their charming house where it feels good to live. We felt like we were welcomed by friends. The private floor is impeccably clean and the bedding is worthy of a great hotel. Thank you for this moment shared in your peaceful countryside.
A big thank you for the very warm welcome from Gaëtan and Vivien who went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible in their beautiful Charolais home. Excellent memories and I won't miss the opportunity to come see you again. Jean Michel
An unparalleled welcome. At Gaëtan and Vivien's, kindness and thoughtfulness are guaranteed. We spent very little time there, but left with the conviction that we would return... not just for the place, but especially for them. Thank you for everything, from the bottom of our hearts. NB: If you had the excellent idea of staying there, ask them to tell you about this little restaurant where the food is so good, near the church... You won't be disappointed.
