Room in a beautiful apartment in Villeurbanne

I had an excellent stay with Guillaume. He is a welcoming host, available and very attentive to the well-being of his travelers. The accommodation perfectly matches the description: clean, comfortable, well-maintained and ideally located. Guillaume always responded quickly to my questions and showed great kindness throughout my stay. My experience was entirely positive. After reading some previous comments, I am genuinely surprised by some criticisms that absolutely do not reflect what I personally experienced. For my part, I found a serious host, respectful and concerned with the quality of the welcome he offers.

Unfortunately, I cannot give a positive review. The apartment definitely does not match the description. The bedroom, bathroom, toilet, and kitchen are superficially cleaned, while the rest is covered in a thick layer of dust. We found spoiled food in a kitchen cabinet that had attracted moths. There is no way to store personal belongings anywhere because everything is cluttered. In the bathroom, the glass shower door is just leaning against the wall because it had fallen out of its frame.

Spacious and pleasant bedroom where I slept very well. Pleasant setting where you are immersed in Guillaume's universe. Guillaume is available and easy to reach. Construction work and Lyon traffic don't make access easy, but there is the possibility to park your car on the property. Bus stop C3 is a 5-minute walk and takes you to the center (Cordeliers) in 30 minutes. Pleasant stay.

Guillaume's accommodation has 2 rooms for rent. Mine had a very uncomfortable bed in which I slept poorly. Guillaume was only present during the key handover and room presentation. The neighborhood is not exceptional.

Simple and efficient communication with Guillaume who was working during my stay! Very well-located accommodation close to public transport, the center of Lyon is very easily accessible. Comfortable bedding, quiet room, I recommend!
