The Manchester gay village is nearby and well known, I don't have much to add, I'm not a scene guy so cant recommend any clubs. But if you stroll down there I'm sure it will reveal itself in all its glory :)

No major rules. It's a slightly hippyish flat where I live rather than a guesthouse, so you'll just be left to your own devices. I do ask guests to smoke on the balcony not inside, other than that. don't wreck the place, make yourself comfy, no worries.

Bob had stuff to do so me and my travel buddy had the apartment for ourselves 90% of the time. Bob was so welcoming and nice that we felt comfortable straightway. 10 min walking from all amenities. Recommed !!

A great place to stay with a great host. Walkable to the village, easy to communicate with, nice to chat with, and went above and beyond when I lost my iPhone on a night out. Definitely recommended.
