We're just 2km from downtown Bayonne. A city steeped in history and tradition. It's easy to discover on foot, strolling through its various districts, museums, bars, restaurants, etc.
Just 500 meters from the accommodation, you'll find the Atelier du Chocolat (factory, store and museum), which traces the history of chocolate in Bayonne and explains why the city is considered the European capital of this delicacy.
Within a 5-10 minute walk of your accommodation, you'll also find a quality bakery, a Lidl, a Biocoop and an Intermarché.
To get around, you can take the bus (the nearest stop is a 5-minute walk away). Alternatively, by road, the main roads are close by, making it easy to reach your destinations, whether on the coast to Biarritz, St Jean de Luz, Hendaye... Or even inland to Espelette or Saint Jean Pied de Port, for example.
Don't forget your hiking gear. The trails are numerous and the scenery magnificent.
In terms of LGBTQIA+ venues, Bayonne has a gay sauna, the S64 (a 15-minute walk away), a bar, Jo's bar, in the Petit Bayonne district (a 30-minute walk away) and a very active association, Les Bascos, which you can meet.
