I am a born Capetonian and work as a medical family practitioner (studied at the University of Stellenbosch) in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town. Married to Wane, originally from Pietermaritzburg and Durban, who is in the sporting retail business and a very keen ultra-distance triathlete. We can advise on all the best places to cycle (road and mountain), run (road or trail), or swim. Cape Town is known for its superb restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and nightlife. Further afield lies the Winelands, where wine, splendid scenery, and food are in abundance. Ask us where to find the best experience.

The apartment is within easy reach to everything in the City Bowl, or go over The Neck and down to the hot and wind-free Clifton Beaches 1,2,3 &4 (3rd Beach is also ******** Head is an easy hour's walk with fantastic panoramic views of the Mother City. From your apartment it is an easy stroll down the road to the hip and happening Kloof, Bree and Long streets, with an abundance of eclectic shops, fashion, restaurants, coffee shops, clubs, drinking holes. Take an Uber back up the hill, or say yes to an invite to the after-party!

We have dogs and a cat: it is their property too. Despite being private and secluded, keep the noise level down so as to not irritate the neighbours. There is a neighbourhood curfew on noise after midnight (but by then you want to be in the happening places anyway!). We love our wooden floors, thus no heels please.

Beautiful accommodations, excellent location, and gracious hosts! Not only did Christo and Wane welcome us to a clean, modern, quiet space with great amenities, they went a step further and had my companion's favorite beer and wine waiting for him in the fridge! As a nudist, the hosts never had any issue with my nudity indoors or outdoors around the house. There was even a private back patio to sunbathe nude on a nice day. Kloof Street is within walking distance, and I could see Table Mountain from my house!
