Claudio was a very nice host. I was enjoying my stay at his place very much. The place is very clean and nicely decorated and it's in a good area of the city. On top, Claudio was helping me out in a miserable situation and I do thank Claudio for that at lot!

The apartment is clean and located in a quiet residential area of ​​Trieste. Access to the house is via many steps, which were difficult with luggage and are dimly lit at night. Public parking is available in the residential area, but as is the case everywhere in Trieste, it's often full, so if you're arriving by car, we recommend parking in a public parking garage. Communication with the host was excellent, and Claudio was able to arrange a flexible arrival time.

The apartment is situated in a quiet part of the city just 30 minutes walking to Trieste Central Station. The views from the balcony are stunning. His apartment is very authentic and decorated very beautifully and elegant. The room was comfortable for a few nights. Claudio is very polite and kind. He speaks fluent English. Eugenio is a very nice and kind guy, even asked me if I wanted to join him to a concert and we had great discussions around a drink when he had time. He gave me good advice about places to go to. The room is nice and clean, although in winter, it's a little bit hot because there's no way to control the common heating of the building. I could also use the kitchen. The appartment isn't that far from center, but with the bike, the road to get there can be steep 😅

This spot is a lovely quiet oasis, away from the hustle of the center. I really enjoyed hiking up the hill behind the flat, and through forest in the maze of trails. I ended up at the brutalist cathedral, in less than two hours, for sunset. And enjoyed exploring the city, on the way home that night. Eugenio was helpful and informative. And, the place was clean and comfortable! Perfect spot between the city and nature. He even suggested an event, that evening, which I attended.
