Yurt on an agroecological farm

At Le détour des charmes, we welcome you to our small food farm in the making, a place for sharing and experimentation, inspired by the principles of agroecology and permaculture. La ferme des charmes nestles at a crossroads, in the heart of the verdant Corrèze countryside that will delight explorers of remarkable natural, historical and artisanal heritage. A member of the Permatrek network of agroecological farms (******** we also offer turnkey treks to discover the Limousin region!

We're working to ecologically renovate our main home, and to set up light accommodation that will enable us to welcome you. We can provide you with a bright, fully-equipped yurt, where you'll find all the comforts you need.

We're also working on the design and installation of the farm elements that will allow us to feed ourselves, as well as anyone else who stays there. Eventually, you'll be able to enjoy meals at our table d'hôte, cooked with produce grown on site, using agroecology and permaculture methods, favoring soil degradation and biodiversity. Whatever is not produced on the farm is sourced from local organic producers or those with practices similar to ours.

Last but not least, we're keen to share our way of life, through informal exchanges, but also through times dedicated to certain themes. The workshops we propose will be an opportunity to tackle subjects revolving around sustainable living and agro-ecology techniques for gardening and living with the living. The aim is to learn from each other's experiences, put them into practice on a daily basis, and spread virtuous ideas and practices.
