My apartment is located in La Latina, one of Madrid’s most vibrant, historic, and inclusive neighborhoods, right on Calle del Ángel. This area is perfect for exploring the city on foot and for enjoying Madrid’s open, diverse, and LGBTQ+-friendly atmosphere.
La Latina & El Rastro Just a few steps away you’ll find lively plazas like Plaza de la Cebada and Plaza de la Paja, full of terraces and local life. On Sundays, don’t miss El Rastro, Madrid’s famous open-air market — colorful, fun, and very LGBTQ+-friendly, especially around La Latina and Lavapiés.
Tapas, cafés & local spots La Latina is one of the best areas in Madrid for tapas and casual dining. I recommend walking along Cava Baja and Cava Alta for traditional and modern Spanish food. For coffee and brunch, Ruda Café, Delic, and Federal Café (nearby) are great options. The neighborhood is relaxed, social, and very welcoming.
LGBTQ+ scene nearby The heart of Madrid’s LGBTQ+ nightlife, Chueca, is about 20 minutes walking or a short metro ride away. There you’ll find iconic bars and clubs like Strong, Skin and El Internacional. Culture & sightseeing You’re within walking distance of Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, the Royal Palace, and the Madrid Río park for a relaxing walk by the river. Museums like the Reina Sofía and Prado are also easily accessible by metro or on foot.

Charming and super comfortable. I was delighted to spend a couple of nights at Jose's apartment in La Latina. The space is lovingly curated and well-taken care of. I appreciated the comfortable bed, and having the patio to relax in the evenings was a real treat. Check in was smooth, and Jose was very attentive and accommodating before my arrival. Thank you for the hospitality!

A wonderful apartment in a nice and interesting part of Madrid. Although Jose was out of town he arranged for a friend to meet us with the keys and was prompt answering emails. One drawback was 5 flights up and no elevator but we survived just fine. Strongly recommended

I loved this apartment! Excellent location. 100% clean, safe, just a few minutes from the La Latina metro station. A beautiful Madrid neighborhood that's worth visiting. Thank you José for letting me take care of your apartment and for it being the perfect place to stay for a few days in Madrid.
