For your privacy the unit has a separate entrance and address: 2707 E. Thomas Street (this address be used for mail and package delivery). I have lived in the building for 22 years, and I would be happy to give you a local perspective on sightseeing or dining in the neighborhood during your stay. This ground floor unit has very easy access. It is a spacious, apartment (800 sq feet) located in the heart of Madison Valley. The location is great.

After staying at many Vacation Rental Properties over the past 6 years I have compiled a few points that you will appreciate about your stay with us. In addition to a well designed apartment in a fine location you will also find the following: • Free Wi-Fi • CD player with CD library • A comprehensive folder with Seattle maps, bus schedules, sightseeing and restaurant suggestions • Free onsite laundry facilities including washing powder, iron and ironing board • A hair dryer in your apartment • Extra pillows, blankets, towels and wash cloths • A clean bathroom, fresh bar of soap, and facial tissues • Remodeled kitchen fully equipped to accommodate 4 guests • 1 Queen bed • 1 Twin bed • Easy on street parking is available. Most things are within an easy five to ten minute walk of from the building: The Arboretum, a large number of shops, restaurants and Coffee houses in Madison Valley. Bike rentals are available at Montlake Bicycle.

The Garden Apartment is within an easy 15 to 30 minute bus or car ride of: Downtown Seattle ,Convention Center, Pike Place Market, Seattle Aquarium, Seattle Art Museum, Waterfront shops, Seattle Center, Space Needle, Experience Music Project. Within a 20 minute drive of Seatac International Airport, Bellevue, and Redmond.

Transportation: Seattle has Car2Go cars. This is a good addition to public transportation for those without a car or rental of their own. There is a registration process (license, etc.) and fee ($35). Once this is done (several days for the license check), the Car2Go cars are available. There is almost always one parked within 5 minutes walking of here. Car2Go has an internet site and smartphone apps used for locating (and reserving) cars. Montlake Bicycle rents all types of bicycles for various periods. The average first day cost is around $40. Please see their internet site for rental details.

We had a great time, it was close to everything, but in a quite residential area. Our host Ron was full of information and made it easy to check in. The apartment was clean and ready for us. It was comfortable and welcoming. Ron has a great knowledge of the local area.

This spot could not have been better. Very nice area with a great coffee shop and restaurants nearby, on a bus route, easy parking. Comfortable interior. We had planned on cooking and had everything to do so. Ron was great, he greeted us when we got in, all instructions were clear. Loved it.
