“Hotel Ginevra is located on the second floor of an old-style Neapolitan building, in a convenient location, very close to the train station. There's also a good supermarket nearby where you can do your shopping or buy whatever you need, as I did. The station area also has excellent bars and reasonably priced restaurants where you can enjoy authentic Neapolitan cuisine. My room, complete with bathroom and air conditioning, met my needs. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator. But no big deal!”

Unveiling the Hotel

The Ginevra is an intimate, family-run hotel a 2-minute walk from Napoli Piazza Garibaldi Train Station, and 1.2 mi from the Port of Naples. It offers unique rooms, some modern and some with an ethnic design.

The rooms are spacious and bright, and feature cool tiled floors. Some are en suite, and some share a bathroom. Some rooms offer air conditioning and a mini-bar. A sweet breakfast is available daily.

The popular shopping street Corso Umberto I is just 656 ft away, and Hotel Ginevra is surrounded by great restaurants, cafés and, of course, pizzerias. There is a traditional market nearby, where you can find lots of characteristic Neapolitan produce.

The friendly staff are always available to help you plan your stay in Naples and beyond. Ferries to the islands of Capri, Ischia, Procida or Sicily, leave from the nearby harbor and ferry terminal.

Host was very helpful and nice. I loved the balcony view of the busy street below and the very tall ceilings. I love small spaces so this was quaint. If you need top shelf accommodations then this might not be your place. I was more than happy with the raw environment of the city. Sharing a bathroom was the most inconvenient part of my stay. Others are not always as clean and considerate but I can handle it for a night or two. I'd stay again and would recommend to anyone on a budget or just wanting minimal accommodations

It is only a block to the train station with excellent food all around. The neighborhood is run down and very noisy with lots of horn honking all night starting at rush hour so bring your ear plugs or headphones.
