One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on! Thick, hotel quality bath towels and 2 very friendly kitties! (especially the dusty orange one!) PS Take advantage of the guest discount and get a massage...Michael uses a variety of techniques from deep tissue to reiki to reflexology to provide a truly amazing experience!"

The central location of the home in the Germantown-Schnitzelburg neighborhood made it easy to walk to many dining and drinking options. It was a short drive to downtown and the Bardstown rd area for other choices. Michael made me feel right at home before he had to go off for family business."

Everything was so tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, and so many details of what guests might need or enjoy were graciously anticipated. The hosts bent over backward to check in and offer assistance. The home itself was a lovely historic gem just a short distance from the historic downtown (walking or driving). You can also easily walk to a few places to get a quick coffee or bagel. This was my partner's first time renting a home and when we next went to a bed and breakfast in Asheville immediately following Lexington he said he wished we were back at Dave and Steve's place. It left quite an impression and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have stayed here."
