Miami Winter Party Miami , when partying means something

The sounds of the Winter Party have been resonating in Miami for a few days now as 2014 marks the 21th edition of this major event of the international gay clubbing circuit, " the hottest winter in the world " as the promoters like to claim .

Over 10,000 guest from around the world gathered for six days of celebration in South Beach, in the tropical sun of Miami, for unmissable events like Sunday’s Beach Party on Miami’s gay  beach or Saturday’s Pool Party.

But if the Winter Party remains a major event for any international gay clubbers, it also has this little something that makes it very different from the usual gay circuit events : since its first edition in 1994, the event is a mjor help to local LGBT organisations. From the beginning, the founders wanted at once to help LGBT associations, promote equality and fight for LGBT rights. Party with a purpose.

Since 2005, The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force has donated more than 1.65 million to local LGBT organisations.
