The beautiful La Lecciona Beach in Torre del Lago Puccini is arguably Italy's most famous gay beach. It is very crowded on weekends, with LGBTQ+ beachgoers mingling and soaking up some sun on the dreamy Mediterranean.

In the immediate vicinity of Monopoli you can find the beach of Torre Incina. Much loved and frequented by LGBTQ+ nudists in the region.

While this is not specifically a beach, the impressive cliffs falling into the ocean, plus the open vibes here, make Sassoscritto a great spot to add to your bucket list of gay beaches in Italy. As there is no sand here, it's better to wear comfortable and supporting shoes, especially for the short and steep path which takes you down to the water.

The idyllic Oasi di Bolgheri is located south of Marina di Bibbona, also in the province of Livorno. Coming from the old Aurelia (SP 39), turn towards Marina di Bibbona, then immediately after the first hotel turn left.

From the village of San Vincenzo, just follow the signs for Piombino and travel on the Strada della Principessa, parallel to the sea, towards the south. After about five kilometers you come across two old farmhouses.

To enter Parco dell’ Uccellina you need to take a shuttle bus or buy a ticket to access by car, tickets that generally sell out in a few hours. As soon as you arrive at the sea, walk north to the Tower, the real gay landmark.

Chiarone beach is a great gay beach in Italy, which is generally very chill. It can be reached by continuing beyond Capalbio to Chiarone, stop at "The Last Beach" and once on the shore walk north for a quarter of an hour.

Le Marze beach is located north of Grosseto, about 17 kilometers away. It can be found along the SS 322 delle Collacchie 5 kilometres, after Castiglione della Pescaia.

The long sandy beaches give way to rocks and enchanting coves in the stretch of road that goes between Peschici and Rodi. Here, between Calanella and San Menaio there are many coves with gay and naturist beaches where you can spend your time on hot summer days.

This is perhaps the most famous and popular beach in the whole area. It attracts a lot of gay people and historically naturism is practiced here.
