Due to problems with my travel, I didn't actually get to stay with Gio but I can say his communication leading up to the date of stay was excellent.

Terrific host! Very accommodating and friendly. The place is spacious and comfortable with a wonderful deck and filled with artwork. Location is farther from the city center but very peaceful and it is relatively easy to get around using public transportation.

Being a guest of Gio was an extremely pleasant experience. The apartment is charming and full of personality, comfortable and located in a very quiet area; moreover, despite being in a non-central location, I had no difficulty reaching various points of the capital via public transport. Gio proved to be an exceptional host, both before my arrival and during my stay, showing grace, kindness and care in abundance. I strongly recommend staying with him for a visit to the Eternal City.

It was absolutely fantastic stay in surprisingly beautiful part of Rome in an amazing apartment with marvelous host. Gio is very special and well mannered young guy with unlimited scope of topics to talk about till late. You wish it never ends. I will never stay anywhere else while in Roma.

Gio was an excellent host, as he accommodated me for a rather early check-in. I had a sofa bed with a table at my disposal and was able to use the kitchen, which opens onto a large terrace. The Monteverde neighborhood is a very quiet residential area, equipped with all amenities: this is why it's very pleasant to use the terrace. The bathroom is shared with the host and is very clean. Gio's house is very personal, you can really feel his presence with lots of books and posters. Definitely a pleasant and unique stay away from conventional tourist itineraries.

Gio is a thoughtful and welcoming host, the apartment is very pleasant and living together is not a problem. The location is not central but calm and away from the crowds, you can get around by bus or bike to reach tourist attractions. I highly recommend it, thank you! :)

Gio's house is spectacular: eclectic and interesting, every piece of furniture probably hides a story and immersing yourself in this feeling is enveloping. Gio's welcome is just as enveloping: nice, attentive, helpful. It's worth moving away from the center to stay with him

Gio is a fantastic host! Attentive to every need, friendly, helpful and extremely kind. Nothing was missing in the room! The house is spotless! Everything is perfect. There's a bus stop near the house that goes to the metro. Despite being slightly out of the way, I had a wonderful time! I highly recommend it.

Gio was a great host, communicated well before my arrival and gave a good tour when I got there. He made sure to make me feel at home and gave plenty of privacy. The apartment is beautifully decorated, especially in the living room where you'll be sleeping with all the art. Loved the terrace too, lovely to sit out with the cats who roam around. The location of it is while in a good and pretty peaceful neighbourhood, is quite far from the centre and was hard to get to at times with Rome's unreliable public transport. So just flagging that for future guests, that you'll need to be prepared for lengthy journey and a lot of walking at times! Overall though great stay and would definitely recommend.
