Alley of Five - Trastevere

Romano is very kind, he gave us a quick tour around Trastevere to recommend good restaurants. The room is very comfortable, with a private bathroom and minibar, provides a coffee machine and, naturally, many capsules 😊. Everything was excellent during our stay. He knows how to welcome guests well and is generous.

Everything about our stay was enjoyable!

The room and bath are clean. Location is great -- many restaurants just outside the front door.

The ensuite room was very comfortable, with a fridge and coffee maker, which was handy for breakfast. The location is simply THE BEST - wonderful, lively street, lovely food everywhere, and a number of gloriously uplifting, historically important churches to visit (S Francesco, S Cecilia, S Maria in Trastevere, S Maria in Orto, etc etc etc) in Trastevere itsellf, before you even cross the Tiber. Romano, the host, is delightful - very friendly, & with lots of tips for what to do and where to go.

Beautiful room in the heart of Trastevere. The owner facilitated the check-in. He was attentive to us throughout our stay without compromising our privacy. We were able to walk to most of the places we visited. The area is full of restaurants and bars, but at the same time quieter than the monumental areas. When we return to Rome, we will come back.

Romano is a wonderful host who brought in a French translator (Serge) to give us all the explanations about the accommodation and the best places to visit. We received a warm and friendly welcome. The accommodation was clean and very well equipped. The location in Rome is great as it's very lively with lots of bars and restaurants. Quite central. We were invited to spend an evening with Romano and his friends, it was a wonderful evening. In short, if you're looking for a good place, this is it.

I have spent here four wonderful weeks. I was in the pulsating heart of Roma, and at the same time away from the big tourist streams. Romano is a wonderful host, showed me the area, gave advice for everything! I will be back in March 2025 for another two weeks! This place is absolutely perfect! Grazie, Romano!

Romano was an incredible host during our stay, and he quickly became a friend. He even invited us to a a small art exhibition and shared several dinners with us, making us feel like part of the family rather than just guests. His warmth and genuine kindness made our experience truly memorable. We're so grateful for the great times we shared and Romano is always welcome to visit us in Germany or Barcelona. We highly recommend him as a host to anyone looking for a heartfelt and enriching stay. Also he is mastering vegan cooking in the near future so he is the ideal host for vegetarians and vegans! :D

It was a great experience staying with Romano. The communication before arrival was easy, and during the stay we had several good talks. He took us around in the neighborhood the first day giving us tips what see and where to eat. Romano also arranged for breakfast in a small & nice neighborhood cafe, and we shared a dinner one night. The place was spacious, clean, quiet (although located in a buzzing street), and with a great balcony. Highly recommended and we will definitely book this place on our next trip to Rome. -jarle-
