How gay-friendly is your city? What’s gay life like there?

Paris is a place where every member of the LGBTQ community is free to express their feelings!

What are the best gay events that take place in your city each year?

The Gay Games took place in Paris in August last year, and I hope they will happen in the city again very soon. Paris Pride (Marche des Fiertés) is also huge, and always takes place in June.

We only have 48 hours in your city. What can’t we miss?

If there’s one thing you should know about getting around my city, it’s that a bike can be your best friend. Discover the city through Les Vélib, a citywide bike-share program that will allow you to move easily from one neighborhood to the other like any Parisian! The best place to spend time outdoors in my city is at the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, a lovely park with a famous beer garden. My city really knows how to celebrate music. See the local love in action at the Fête de la Musique, which is held around the city on June 21 each year.

What’s your favorite gay place to grab a bite for lunch? A nice dinner?

Le Café A is the perfect place for lunch on a Sunday. And at night it becomes a gay beer garden, so fun!

A gay place for brunch on weekends?

Rosa Bonheur is a great gay and lesbian place to hang out during the weekend, and it is located in the heart of the beautiful Buttes-Chaumont park!

Best gay place and day for a cheap beer or happy hour?

Head to Fluctuat Nec Mergituron bar at Place de la République on a Friday night - good vibes and cheap drinks.

We’re ready to party! What are the best gay clubs?

"La Dimanche" is my favorite party. It takes place every Sunday, and the venue changes very often, which always makes it a unique experience!

What are the best alternative gay bars and clubs where you live?

For a fancy night out, I recommend having a round of drinks at the Experimental Cocktail Club, which is located in the 2nd arrondissement, not far from Les Halles.

Are there any places related to LGBTQ history?

The Memorial of the Martyrs of the Deportation is a Parisian monument dedicated to the memory of all the deportees (homosexuals too) of France between 1941 and 1944. You'll find it on the Ile de la Cité in Paris.

Can you share a secret or little-known place to visit in your city?

Le Comptoir Général, a hidden gem close to The Canal Saint Martin. It's a bar-come-cafe, and there are different themed rooms as well as an outdoor area.

Any beaches, parks or best other places to chill out?

The best place to spend time outdoors in my city is the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. It is a lovely park with a famous beer garden.

Where you can we get the best view of Paris?

Definitely from le Sacré-Coeur, the city's beautiful basilica which is located at the top of Montmartre. You can either climb to the top, or take a funicular. Once at the top, you'll get amazing panoramic views over the city.
