Villa Flamingo is a gay guesthouse - adults only - in the picturesque village of Marseillan. It's a perfect place for a relaxing holiday, as a getaway for exploring southern France, as a stop on your way between France and Spain – or just to hang out by the pool. Villa Flamingo is also nearby the famous naturist village Cap d'Agde. We offer two air conditioned double rooms with private toilets, and shared shower. Breakfast is included and also a glass of wine by the pool every evening, before going out for dinner. Clothing optional in the pool area. We are a happily married couple that moved from Stockholm, Sweden, to southern France in 2021. Both journalists, but now happy to start a new business and chapter in our lives. We have travelled a lot and know what we ourselves appreciate when we come to a new place. We love getting new friends and we are very good in making people feel comfortable, wether it's a nice dinner or a big party by our pool. We love music, Pär is singing in a group, going to concerts from Beyoncé to jazz and classical. And we love sports, I (Nils) played football and ishockey for many years.

We are close to the lovely beach Marseillan Plage and to Cap d'Agde, the famous nudist beach popular even among gays. In the area there are two more gay beaches. From Villa Flamingo it is walking distance to the lively Marseillan harbor with bars and restaurants, many of them specializing in oysters and local seafood. And you must of course make a visit to Noilly Prat, also by the harbor, that makes the world famous vermouth that is a must for James Bond when he makes his Dry Martinis "shaken not stirred". Around Marseillan there are hundreds of nice vineyards to visit for a "dégustation" (wine tasting). There is a nice gay bar and a gay nightclub in Cap d'Agde, and several gay bars and saunas in nearby Montpellier and Beziers.

The rooms are non smoking, but you can smoke in the pool area. Pets are not allowed. The guests have access to kitchen and livingroom/dining room with tv. By the pool there is a bar and bbq area, and some evenings we arrange dinner parties. No glass is allowed in the pool area, only plastic! It is advisable to have access to a car. There is a parking for the guests behind the house, or on the street in front.

I had a wonderful stay at the villa. The photos are very accurate and the lunch was very generous. It's also very nice to be able to have an aperitif in the evening by the pool. Finally, it's appreciated to be able to help yourself to soft drinks at a very reasonable price. As for the owners, they were truly charming. An experience worth repeating.
