It was a superb stay. Thinus and his friend are absolutely delightful, super welcoming and remarkably authentic. They love their city, Cape Town, you can see and feel it. They don't hesitate to share plenty of advice and even invite you to join them for a barbecue or a discovery excursion. You really feel the generosity and simplicity of South Africa. The apartment is great. Clean, warm and ideally located by the sea. It's also close to all amenities on foot (main street) or by uber. I recommend it 1000% and wouldn't hesitate for my next stay.

Thinus and his partner are incredible hosts and I would love to stay with them again! The room was clean and very comfortable. The location was great. His responsiveness beforehand was very timely. When talking to them it felt like spending time with old friends!

Thinus is, without a doubt, the best host I've ever had. From the very first moment, his responsiveness was exceptional: always quick to reply, incredibly knowledgeable about the city, & genuinely helpful with everything. The location is excellent: close to the sea promenade, great variety of restaurants along the main road & specialty coffee spots nearby. On top of that, the mattress and cushions were extra comfortable. So grateful that Thinus was my host in CPT. Highly highly recommended.
