A lovely, newly-renovated Georgian house in a historic conservation area in the heart of Stockwell/Nine Elms in South London. Easy access to the gay pubs of Clapham and Vauxhall, and well connected to the modern, bustling Battersea Power Station. Great tube lines (Victoria and Northern Lines) will get you into central London in no time, including the gay pubs in Soho.
Guests have a spacious, private top floor bedroom and bathroom with garden views and flooded in sunlight from the modernised skylights and high ceilings.
Adam and his husband are friendly, well-travelled hosts who look forward to helping curate the perfect stay in their favourite city. We speak Spanish and French, so can make you feel at home if English isn't your first language. Mouse (our tuxedo cat) will warm your stay.
We’re both cooks, so expect a super well-stocked and comfortable kitchen. Ask if you’d like to add on a cooking or baking lesson to learn to make a number of sweet or savoury British classics, time permitting.
There are two sunny double reception rooms for relaxing with a cup of tea. Our own bathroom has a gorgeous rainshower and deep, relaxing bathtub. Guests are welcome to use those, too.
There are incredible pubs and restaurants in the area. We’ll be sure to help you navigate the neighbourhood like a pro.
Tea, coffee, cereal, fruit, and toast is included for breakfast. Let us know if there’s something in particular that you’d like us to try and get for you.
