The Reveal

Pedro's Perch is a three story house set on a hobby farm, we like to grow much of our own food and share with those who stay with us. We have cow, goats, chickens, and rabbits surround by a small nursery. The house is located 20 minutes from Tallahassee, and is great for birding or taking in the quite charm of country life. Sip a glass of wine in the garden and watch the sunset or take a shower outdoors after trekking through our wooded trails.

Host recommendations

Smoking is not allowed in the house but you can smoke out on one of the two large decks. We do like the choice of a quite relaxing place to stay so we like to observe quite time after 10pm to 7am. Having pets of our own, we know it can be difficult to find welcoming places to host our fury friends so we do allow pets as long as the are on a lease when outdoors do to the interaction with farm animals and other's pets can not always be anticipated.

William's place was a convenient and comfortable stopping off point during a road trip south. It is easy to get to a few miles off the interstate but it is also a quiet and rural setting. William, Boyd and Pedro were very welcoming and accommodating. My stay was short but I hope to return soon.

We had an enjoyable and relaxing stay at Pedro's Perch. It's a very peaceful and scenic location. And Will, Boyd, and Pedro are excellent hosts! We will definitely make plans to stay longer next time.

This was a last minute booking as I was passing through. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stop for a recharge. Great host and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to stay again on another trip through.

I can't thank Will and Boyd enough. I really felt like a welcome guest in their lovely home. Such warm guys, such a spotless and comfy farmstead. What a wonderful surprise out in the Florida woods.

This was a nice quiet stop over on my drive from Mississippi to Florida. Very quiet. The hosts were incredibly friendly and I enjoyed a nice homemade meal in the evening and fresh, hot coffee in the morning before I left. After dinner we had a delicious cocktail and friendly conversation by the fire. I would definitely recommend Pedro's perch and would absolutely stay again!

A unique and beautiful secluded sanctuary on my drive from Michigan to Florida. The hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed a lovely evening, sharing a homemade meal, drinks and interesting conversations. I would recommend this listing. :-)

An absolutely amazing stay! Beautiful location, quiet, and so peaceful! The house is gorgeous with very comfortable accommodations. The hosts are wonderful people - charming, attentive, friendly, with a lot of fascinating travel stories that led to many inspiring conversations. And of course, Pedro is the cutest little dog! I can't wait to come back soon!
