This B&B, crafted from beautifully remodeled RVs, is a truly unique experience. I stayed in the Roman-themed RV, which was surprisingly plush and comfortable – a delightful escape! The grounds are perfect for relaxation, especially lounging by the lazy river. But what really made this place special was the host, who was always up for a friendly chat and made me feel right at home. If you're looking for a quirky and comfortable getaway, I highly recommend this little oasis!
Joey was a wonderful host. The room was quite a revelation. It was decorated with Roman and Egyptian artifacts. His entire yard is landscaped in with fascinating sculptures, fountains, a koi fishpond, waterways, waterfalls, and numerous interesting artifacts everywhere. Joey showed me two other rooms, one with a safari theme and another with a Zen theme. Both looked like fabulous rooms to stay at. Joey is quite friendly and has good info on things do in the area.
JoeyD's Village is #unique. It's a unique property which offers unique living quarters and a unique community to its guests! There are seven small remodeled RVs on the property, each dressed up with a theme: e.g., Safari, Zen, Roman, Tropical Tiki. JoeyD has a beautifully appointed lazy river and plenty of places to just kick back and relax. To top it off, Sawmill Campground is an easy 7-minutes drive from JoeyD's. We found it so convenient to drive there and grab a day pass. JoeyD's Village is definitely a place we would return to when planning a vacation in the Sawmill area.
This place is truly amazing. The decor and overall design is unique and sets it apart from any other place I've been. If you appreciate artistry over staying in a mundane hotel, you hit the jackpot when you book your stay here.
