Green Retreat

Tom was an exceptional host during my recent stay for a family funeral. Throughout a difficult time, he was incredibly kind, friendly, and hospitable. My room was spotless and exactly as described, while the comfortable living area and kitchen made me feel right at home. Enjoying the hot tub in the mornings and evenings was both relaxing and magical. I will absolutely return the next time I'm in the area and highly recommend Tom's home.

WOW, I could not have picked a better place to stay! The house was everything it is advertised (comfortable, clean, well taken care of, very accommodating to all needs and desires). No one could ever ask for a better host, he is fantastic and made sure my entire stay was perfect. This is a perfect place to stay if on business or just wanting a place to relax. The bed was oooooohhhhh so comfortable and the cleanest outdoor hot tub with the perfect temperature was fantastic. As a person who enjoys being natural (inside out outdoor), this was the perfect setting to relax and enjoy a nice early morning and evening. Tom was a great host, fantastic chef, has nice friends, enjoyed the card game and overall, Fantastic Host! This stay was well worth the money, and I will be staying there again on my future trips to the Asheville area. And just in case you (future guest) like to wake up early, don’t miss out on enjoying your wonderful cup of coffee soaking in the hot tub and watching the moon set behind the mountain right in front of your eyes. I had a wonderful time at Green Retreat. The reviews don't lie. The home is immaculate. The bed comfortable. Tom is friendly and engaging. We went out for dinner together both nights. The hot tub is great. Tom invited me to join him in the hot tub with a cup of coffee early in the morning while it was still dark. Don't pass up the opportunity to do this! The stars are amazing. Of course you could have a soak at night and see the stars as well, but then you'd miss out on Tom's company. Highly recommended!

Tom's Green Retreat is a relaxing place to spend a weekend. Especially the hot tub. Tim is a very friendly and attentive host. He really goes above and beyond for his guests, which I appreciate.

What a great place to stay! Extremely clean and comfortable. Tom is one of the nicest hosts ever. He made dinner (twice!), always had coffee in the morning, went out and brought back some Krispy Kreme donuts (yum!!) and even shared a bottle of wine. I met his other guests who were just as sweet and together we played card games. I would absolutely come back and recommend to anyone.

Tom was a great host. He allowed me to make myself at home and did not interfere. It was easy to come and go as I pleased. He was there if I needed anything at all. There were always plenty of towels too. You can see other houses but still very private. Very safe area. Also the communication was perfect and always fast.
