I had an excellent night at Gavin and Craig's place. The accommodation was clean and the bed very comfortable. Cosy and warm decoration.
Gavin was great, a lovely host. The house was lovely and well located with easy access to the city and plenty of parking. Gavin was able to direct me to a good restaurant, which was near to the city centre and well worth trying.
Gavin was an absolute 1st class host, he thought about me during my stay that made me feel totally comfortable and welcome. The description of the room was perfect, his attention to detail was too perfection and he even brought me a welcome gift, of some fudge cake to eat with a cup of tea! Thank you Gavin, I will be back again for sure.
I had a fantastic stay at Gavin's, the place is lovely, so clean, well-designed and decorated so thoughtfully. Gavin is a wonderful host, we had a great chat and he was really good with my dog. He's an all-round great guy and I would not hesitate to highly recommend him to all.
Gavin is such a gracious and patient host. I ended up checking in very, very late due to an unforeseen car incident, but Gavin was very accommodating and welcomed me in person just the same. His place is comfortable and nicely appointed, and I slept like a log - something I can't say for every place! Thank you Gavin; you've got my hearty recommendation!
This is my second time staying here and it's just perfect. It's clean, modern, convenient and not far from city centre. I got to meet Gavin this time and he was so welcoming and hospitable...... great value for money and husband and I would definitely recommend this place. Thanks Gavin.
So I booked this for one night as I was down in business in Carlisle. This was a great find! Very comfortable, great room, welcoming and relaxing. The information before getting there from Gavin was clear, precise, accurate and left me with no questions. This is my first booking via this site and it was perfect. Gavin had thought of everything and I was left not wanting for anything...... a perfect find!!
I had a lovely stay here and the room was decorated in a warm, cosy style, with a really comfy bed and the amenities you need. It is easily accessed from the M6 and there was plenty of parking when I arrived. There was thorough information for the check-in and use of the facilities, which really helped. I was lucky enough to meet Gavin and to have a chat with him; I not only got a good night's sleep but also received some of his wisdom on life (I didn't even get charged for this). He also provided great biscuits and I did the Tim Tam thing: nibble off the opposite ends, suck your tea through it and then shove it in your mouth once the tea hits your lips. Yum! I plan to be travelling past Carlisle several times on the way to Scotland and hope I can get a booking at Gavin's again.
