In the heart of Old Stavanger

All I have to say is the Knut was the most AMAZING host ever. His place is very nice, close to everything and quiet. He was always very helpful, kind and did all he could to accommodate me. Gave me some great tips and delicious breakfast in the morning. Thanks Knut for your hospitality. If I come to Stavanger again, I'll definitely stay with you. Cheers.

Really happy to have discovered this gem in Old Stavanger for an authentic stay — it truly did not disappoint. The location is perfect: central, charming, and within walking distance of everything. Knut was an amazing host who made me feel welcome right from the start. We had great conversations, and I genuinely enjoyed his company. The breakfast before my hike to Preikestolen was great, everything I needed and very much appreciated. Highly recommended!

VERY nice stay, VERY nice host, VERY nice house.👍 Knut is a very friendly gentleman, well travelled, with lots of common interests. And he is flexible on arrival / departure times, with lots of advice about Stavanger and hints about the Norvegian culture. House is very well located and easy to find and go around. It is gorgeous, very well decorated , it looks like a fairy tale house , very comfortable , silent, with great floor heating. And Breakfasts are super good 😊👍 So, all in all, great stay. I do recommend (and would go again to !) Knut and his welcoming home.

Knut was a great host. He went out of his way to welcome me and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. His place is so charming and the location is perfect for exploring Stavanger. I would recommend this listing to anyone.

Wow. What a lovely welcoming warm historic home! Knut was wonderful. He welcomed me warmly even though I arrived at midnight due to a late flight. He made be feel very comfortable. The house is amazing. Over 300 years old but very comfortable. Full of history which Knut has preserved beautifully. It's in the very heart of Stavanger just moments walk from the port. Wonderful car free streets. Just perfect!

A marvellously cosy house and host, in a very idyllic setting. A perfect example of Scandinavian "hygge". Well worth visiting for those seeking a charming home for their vacation. I have enjoyed my weekend at Knuts place, and can surely recommend it.

A must stay at Stavanger, historic old Stavanger house but comfortable. The room upstairs is nice with the bed box. Very quiet but expected a lot of tourists going by as this is one of the oldest part of Stavanger. The host was superb, friendly and willing to help. His golden heart wins all. Highly recommended.

A wonderful journey in Stavanger. A very beautiful place with a lot of activities to enjoy (museums, walking in the old town and center and around, marvelous hikes like Preikestolen or Florli and many others) Thanks to Knut for his welcome in his charming house located in the old town near the port, for our discussions in the evening. I loved our relationship based on simplicity, and honesty. let yourself be charmed by the sweetness of life in Norway and maybe the Norwegians ;-) I strongly recommand Knut, you won't be disappointed.
