The Reveal

Our flat is 50 square meters, features a beautiful warm wooden floor and is on the 4th floor (no lift). We have a big living room with a couch, a 55 inch 4K TV (incl. Netflix, Prime Video etc) and a work desk. We have a separate fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and a modern bath room incl. a washing machine for you to use. The flat is very quiet yet central (direct U-Bahn access at Pankstraße / Osloer Straße + easy to get around by bike along the Panke river). We rent our place when we're travelling - so expect a clean and tidy place with vacated space for you to put your things, but not a sterile hotel room or holiday apartment.

Hi there, I’m Nicolas. I'm originally from Gelsenkirchen (a German city not far from the Netherlands) but I have lived in Berlin since 2016, when I moved here with my boyfriend. Before that I went to university in the UK and also one year in Russia. I now work for Amazon here. The pretty neighbourhood of Prenzlauer Berg is around the corner (10 mins by bike or 30 by foot). The Gesundbrunnen shopping center and railway station is 900 meters by foot. But you can get pretty much anywhere in the city from our location plus it's central enough so that you can easily get back late in the night. The main gay district around Nollendorfplatz in Schöneberg is 30-40 mins by S-Bahn/U-Bahn. The clubs and bars in Friedrichshain are also accessible by Ringbahn.

My friend and I were very happy with our experience at Nicolas and Marcel's place. We had good communication with Nicolas before our arrival. Even though they weren't home, they graciously arranged for a friend to meet me at Hbf with the keys. We were most happy with the extra room in which we could work. They were generous with what they had. If I return to visit Berlin, I wouldn't hesitate to request to stay there again.

Even though this might not be the trendiest neighbourhood it close to all of them. The apartment is a real home away from home in a typical and quiet German building.
