Looking for a comfy, friendly home base in Tempe? Your private room is just 1.5 miles from ASU with a free shuttle to campus, Mill Ave, and Light Rail. Super easy, no car needed!
The room is sunny, cozy, and relaxing—queen bed, TV with FireStick, desk, closet, ceiling fan. Perfect for unwinding after exploring.
The house vibe? Casual, social, LGBTQ+-friendly, and zero drama. Hang out when you want, or keep it low-key—your choice.
You’ll have fast WiFi, central A/C & heat, a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and a backyard hot tub (landscaping in progress). Breakfast items available on request, and you’re invited to dinner whenever I’m cooking.
Bathroom is shared upstairs (plus a backup half bath downstairs). Dog lovers welcome—Bella, our sweet beagle/lab mix, is the real host here. Well-behaved pups welcome too!
Heads up: A/C takes a break 3–6pm on weekdays, so the upstairs can warm up a bit.

If you are traveling with a small dog who gets along with others, that would be OK. No smoking inside, but you can smoke in the back yard if you must, and pick up after yourself. My dining room table seats 8 naturally, up to 12 with available extra chairs, so we are accustomed to dinner parties here. Your polite guests are welcome until Midnight, and we can discuss any gatherings you have in mind (before they happen, please). Our home is lived-in and sometimes messy with projects, merchandise coming and going for our side businesses, and generally more stuff than most people have out. It’s never dirty, just not pristine or hotel-like. Your room will be tidy and organized with plenty of space for your things. If you’re bothered by clutter in the common areas, you may want to consider other options.

Seth was friendly and easy to get ahold of. The bedroom was as described in the ad. The bathroom was sub par and not as shown in the picture. The bathroom counter was filled with lotions and potions and the bathroom bin was filled to the brim with toilet paper. The kitchen area was filthy along with the rest of the house and the smell of fried food permeated the air throughout. I would have better off staying at a $59 Motel 6. I didn't complain but I should have.

Our home is exactly that—a lived-in home. The room was as described, and the shared bath reflects real life (yes, we are gay men and we have toiletries on the counter). We cook in our family kitchen, so it may smell like dinner, not disinfectant. Cleanliness is important to us! We are messy, but have housekeepers (who came while Joe was here), and "filthy" is simply untrue, unfair and disrespectful. We enjoyed friendly conversations with Joe, provided snacks and suggestions, and heard no concerns during his stay. Expectations may have been more toward motel or bath house rather than home share

The bedroom was comfortable and clean although quite small. We were provided snacks in the bedroom as well as anything needed for our breakfast which was really appreciated. The common areas would have been more pleasant to live in if they had been tidy and not cluttered with dozens of objects. Communication with Seth was easy and pleasant

Seth is amazing. He accommodated me in my requested and made my life so much better durning my stay. In fact I'm going back next week again so I'm staying with Seth again. He is friendly easy to talk to and felt like I was an old friend. Oh and the bed was so comfortable, quiet and dark room so sleeping is amazing. Thanks Seth for the amazing stay..
