Lions Rest - private guest apartment with Garden

Mark and Fabricio were the most gracious and hospitable hosts. They shared their local knowledge of nearby restaurants, sights, historical locations, and places to visit to turn us from tourists into locals. They were there when we needed, even sometimes socializing, but they also gave us our personal space. We even had the opportunity to tour their home which was still full of their 26(?) themed Christmas trees. The fridge was even stocked with refreshments and pumpkin bread. We left as friends

Though I did not get to meet Fabricio, Mark was a wonderfully hospitable host and the apartment was absolute perfection. I was comfortable from the moment I got in & definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to or through Memphis.

I loved Lion's Rest. Such a beautiful house and garden, and great to have my own entrance and comfortable studio flat. Mark and Fabricio were wonderful hosts, with Mark going out of his way to be helpful and welcoming. I'd stay again for sure.

What a fantastic place to stay! The apartment we stayed in was private, spacious, furnished comfortably, and located in a great neighborhood. Fabricio and Mark were attentive and friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. Not only do I recommend staying at Lion's Rest, but I also plan on becoming a repeat customer.

Mark and Fabricio were absolutely fantastic hosts. The apartment was just as it is described. It is comfy, clean, and exceptionally appointed. I had everything I needed, plus! They take great care in making sure their guests feel at home. My first visit to Memphis felt like I was visiting a close relative as opposed to renting an apartment for a weekend. I was greeted with freshly baked Pumpkin Bread, a list of places to eat, points of interest to see, and cool hangouts to patron. Amazing!!

My stay at Lion's Rest was perfect. Check in was easy and I found the space to be perfect. I enjoyed the coffee and homemade pumpkin pie in the mornings. The hosts are true gentlemen. The residence is in a great location. I look forward to staying at Lion's Rest when visiting Memphis again. Thank you, Greg

Enjoyed my overnight stay at the Lions Rest! Mark and Fabricio have a very nice home and location, and they have thought of all the details. Great communication, including being very proactive about sharing info about the place and must see sites in Memphis. The place is very quiet with a very cozy bed and all the amenities you could expect and then more. How can you go wrong with homemade pumpkin bread and two kinds of coffee to choose from. Easy driving distance to all the spots in Memphis.

Very gracious and pleasant guests! The main house is gorgeous, and we were lucky enough to get a tour. The accommodations were so comfy, inviting and charming that it was a shame we had to leave. Mark also gave us many many excellent tips on places to visit in the city (which we took with us when we left, for future reference upon our hoped-for return visit!). Our visit was unfortunately brief, but Mark and Fabricio made us feel at home, and we can't wait to plan a return visit!
