THE ROOM
The room is approximately 16 square meters, with a comfortable, large double bed, a small table, a cupboard for clothes, and a TV. Also, you have a kettle and a refrigerator, which you can use anytime inside the room. Easy access to the toilet and shower. The toilet and shower are shared with the owners.
The apartment is situated on the ground floor.

THE LOCATION
The apartment is located in the oldest, UNESCO protected part of Amsterdam, with quite narrow streets. You could easily forget that you are right in the centre of Amsterdam. This is the best place you can wish for while visiting Amsterdam!
Public transportation stops are right around the corner, but actually, you don’t need them. You can reach everything in the centre on foot.

Within 5 minutes walking distance:
+ Nieuwmarkt (lively square, terrace, cafés and restaurants, Saturday there is an organic market and Sunday antiques)
+ Waterlooplein (daily brocante market)
+ Supermarket and organic supermarket
+ Rembrandt house (this is where he lived and worked. You can see it from your window!)
+ Opera house and city hall (together the ‘Stopera’)
+ Hermitage Museum

DIRECSIONS

The apartment is located in island close to Nieuwmarkt square, that also has a metro stop. On the Waterlooplein, a 4 minutes’ walk, you can grab several trams. From the Train station Amsterdam Central, you can reach the apartment in 13 minutes on foot, or 1 metro stop to Nieuwmarkt or Waterlooplein.

🚭 No smoking indoors. Smoking is only permitted outside. The property is on the ground floor, just a 1-minute walk to the canal — perfect for a quick smoke in the fresh air.

❌ No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed.

🍽 Please note: there are no kitchen facilities available (kettlery is on request).

🐾 No pets allowed.

⏰ Please inform us of your planned check-in and check-out times in advance. If not provided, check-in will be arranged based on host availability.

⌛ If you miss your scheduled check-in time or haven’t arranged one, we will do our best to accommodate you based on our next available time.

🎉 No parties or loud gatherings.

🛏 Please respect the privacy of the host and other guests.

🔇 Quiet hours begin at 22:00. We kindly ask you to lower your voice, as we are working people and value a peaceful night’s rest.

🌙 You may arrive late at night, but please keep the noise to a minimum.

💡 Please turn off lights in shared areas (toilet/shower) and in your room when leaving the house. Excessive waste of electricity may result in an additional charge.

🗣 If you're a couple, please keep conversations at a respectful volume — our neighbours and other guests do not need to hear the full details of your private life.

🚫 Please do not leave personal belongings in shared spaces like the bathroom or shower.

🧼 Clean the bathroom after use — wipe the floor, remove any hair, flush the toilet, and leave it tidy for others.
