Les Geais has been a project of love for Andrew & John. Whilst it is an on going project our bedrooms (all en suite) are furnished and decorated to a very high standard which won’t disappoint. We wish to welcome guests to our home (B&B) to relax and be part of our journey as the house and grounds develop. We look forward to welcoming you and offering superb hospitality. The meaning of B&B is the hosts welcome you into their home!

The Île de Ré
One of the most visited island of the Atlantic Coast, after Île d’Oléron; Île de Ré is famous for its touristic and distinguish approach: very chic but extremely natural. Unfornately, it is also the only island where you have to pay to go in.
The Île d’Oléron
More relaxing and unadulterated than the Île de Ré, the Île d’Oléron will be a total refreshing and changement. Landmarks, beaches, wine-making, walk, and so much more can be done in this atlantic island, bigger than the other.
La Rochelle
During your stay at Les Geais Chambre d’hôtes, you cannot miss the most important city of the region: La Rochelle. The beauty of the place would leave you speechless.
From the historic centre, passing by beaches and old port, you won’t get bored.
The Naval Dockyard in Rochefort
30 minutes away from Les Geais Chambre d’hôtes, the beautiful city of Rochefort has a lot of places to see, among which, the Naval Dockyard.
Named the “Versaille of the Sea”, The Corderie Royale is a real pearl in the naval history and you will probably enjoy it.
Les Geais, Surgères, la Rochelle, Rochefort, Chambre d'hôte, hôtel, b&b
The Côte Sauvage of Royan & Châtelaillon
The Côte Sauvage is not really a place but a name given to a place in the Atlantic coast. Going there means that you will find lots of beaches from the Palmyre to the North of Royan. But if you want to, the Châtelaillon beach is closer to Les Geais and just as good.
Saintes and landmarks
Lot of landmarks and activities can be done in Saintes, such as visiting the amphitheatre, do canoeing, go to the marketplace, visiting castles, artisans, cognac museum, etc. It a very nice place to have memorable memories.
Whilst we are situated in the country we have an abundance of excellent restaurants within a short distance and in the citified of La Rochelle, Rochefort Saintes and Royan there are many Restaurants, clubs and bars Saunas etc.
Andrew & John will be delighted to assist in planning your stay to your particular requests before and during your stay
