Entire House: hot tub, fire pit/place, dog friendly(fee)

This is our home, not a hotel, so naturally some of our personal things are in drawers and closets. We trust that you will respect our privacy. Feel free to use the black dressers or the closets if you’d like. We are pet friendly, but do have a small pet fee. We do have a Ring doorbell with a camera on the garage facing the driveway and front door, that’s the only security camera on site. If we do not respond immediately to your message, you can ring the doorbell, it will notify us and we can talk through the doorbell. Please return the key to where you found it after use and before checking out. Lost keys will result in a $50 fee. Excessive messes, including unwashed dishes, spills, debris, or trash will result in a $50 additional cleaning fee. The piano and guitars are in tune, feel free to use it if you are a musician. Please keep drinks and food away from the piano and please do not allow children to bang on it. The best part, the Jacuzzi! All you have to do is turn it up about an hour before you want to get in; we don’t recommend temperatures over 102. The cover slides back up against the house. When you’re done using it just make sure you turn it down to the low 80s, turn off the lights, and cover it back up. Towels are kept in the linen closet closest to the back bedroom door. The hot tub has been tested for correct chemical balance before you arrive. If you use the hot tub repeatedly during an extended stay, the chemicals may need to be adjusted. If the water smell or color is off, you can test the chemicals with the test trips and add chemicals as needed from the bin in the covered patio near the hot tub. You can also add water using the hose on the side of the house if the water levels go down. When using the hot tub, be careful not to spill any food or drinks. Please only go into the hot tub clean, if you or your children have been swimming in the lake or if your feet have significant sand or dirt on them, please rinse off before getting into the hot tub. Misuse of the hot tub by the addition of foreign substances such as alcohol, grass, sand, shampoo, soap, oils, glass or metal will result in a $200 draining and cleaning fee. Under no circumstances are pets allowed in hot tub. Children must be supervised at all times. Use of the hot tub is at the guest's own risk.
