Brecon Beacons cottage

Spent a very pleasant evening with Gary getting to know each other, chatting and watching the tennis. Gary is very welcoming, friendly and considerate. He made me feel at home from the time I arrived until I, reluctantly, left. Communication was excellent prior to my visit with good recommendations about places to eat in the area. Gary's comfortable house is in an excellent location in a beautiful, afforested valley. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. My only disappointment was that I could only spend one night with Gary. Hope I'll be back before too long.

Gary is a fantastic host, my stay (too brief) was relaxed and relaxing. Gary offered a wealth of knowledge about local restaurants and pubs and local attractions. He really helped me make the most of my time while staying with him. I'd definitely love to stay again if he has availability

The loveliest kind man, it was such a pleasure meeting and making a new friend. Such warmth and stimulating conversation, about anything and everything. I would highly recommend a trip to Wales just to meet and stay with Gary, you will learn so much local knowledge. His home is a home from home, cosy (log fire), clean, very clean and so welcoming. I liked it so much and slept so well, I was pleased I could extend my stay for another night. I hope Gary will have me, next time Im in the area.

Gary is a suburb host. His communication prior to arriving was incredible and his directions made it easy to find his warm and extremely comfortable home. He made me feel welcomed and 'at home' from the moment I arrived. I thoroughly enjoyed his fireside chat into the late evening, after I'd eaten at the pub up the road. Breakfast was delicious after a very comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. Gary's suggestions for my day were fantastic and his hospitality is second to none. I'd happily stay at his BnB for much longer if I'm back this way in the future.

Gary is a consummate host. It was a pleasure to stay in his cosy and comfortable home in Wales. The arrangements in advance were exemplary and the welcome was warm, metaphorically and literally. When I arrived there was a gorgeous fire in his wood burner. We chatted easily on a variety of topics. My stay was finished off with a generous and wholesome breakfast.

Perfect communication, perfect location and perfect host! What's more to say..... this stay delivered everything you need and more. Would recommend to anyone travelling through or wanting a holiday. Great local pub too and super hospitality, we stayed up most of the night chatting. Look forward to next time!
