After visiting Paris and discovering its cultural and culinary treasures, enjoy your own private room in my bright, architect-renovated apartment. The Goncourt district (the metro station is almost at the bottom of the building) is just a stone's throw from the Marais and Canal St-Martin: it's a lively area, with lots of good restaurants and bars, as well as numerous food shops and several supermarkets. There are also numerous sports facilities nearby: an indoor swimming pool, several fitness/crossfit/yoga studios. And the Buttes Chaumont park is close by.

I'll be happy to give you tips on what to see and where to go for a drink or a bite to eat: I love showing visitors around my city :-) and I can even help you with bookings for the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, and so on.

The room has a very comfortable double bed, a large shower next to the bed and a washbasin. Electric blackout blinds on each window. Bed linen, towels and bath products provided, of course! You'll have the bedroom all to yourself, while I'll be sleeping on the sofa :-) but no problem moving into the living room when I'm there! The kitchen opens onto the living room, making it a very convivial space. The toilet is separate from the shower and can be accessed directly from the bedroom without passing through the living room.

CAUTION: If the apartment is very bright... it's because it's on the 5th floor without an elevator :-) It's a 'small' two-room apartment of 40m2 (not the ideal place if you're planning to travel with a lot of stuff... because there's very little storage space: if you're traveling with 2 or more suitcases, for example, it won't be pleasant for you or for me ;-) ).

I had a wonderful stay in Paris. The home was beautiful and located in a fantastic area, making everything easily accessible and enjoyable. Philippe is one of the best hosts. He reached out to me right after accepting my reservation to ask about my arrival time and was very flexible about checking-in time which helped a lot. His place is very clean and organized, and conveniently located near good restaurants and stores where one can literally shop for anything just within 5ish min walking distance; and getting around is easy as there is a metro station in a minute from the building. I highly recommend this place.
