To ensure that your stay goes as smoothly as possible, please take note of the following points: Waste management : 3 garbage cans are placed under the sink. The one with the yellow sticker is for metal and plastic, the green one is for compostable plant residues, and the black one is for what you can't put in the first two! Paper and cardboard go directly into the big blue garbage can outside, while plastic and metal go into the yellow one. Thank you for helping us sort. Neighbors : I'm friends with my neighbors and I intend to stay that way ;-) Please respect the peace and quiet of the village and its nights! Please limit your traffic to your studio and terrace. The other terrace belongs to the main house. With this in mind, I would like to point out that the bedroom door only opens tilt-turn. Kitchen: I provide the basic necessities, if something is missing, don't hesitate to let me know to improve it! Please wash the dishes and put them away before you leave. If the hob locks (childproof), press and hold the padlock button until it releases. Storage: Wooden crates are available in the bedrooms for storing your clothes. Housekeeping : I rely on your respectful management of the premises. In this sense, it is not possible to change the location of furniture. If you need an extra table for a meal on the terrace, ask me and I'll be happy to provide you with one. And if you break something, it happens, but please let me know so that I can take the necessary steps to replace it. Thank you for tidying up the accommodation on your departure and taking out the rubbish in accordance with the sorting rules. Heating: This is a quasi-passive studio, meaning that it requires very little heating because the sun does its job, combined with the wood-fiber insulation. In summer, to keep things cool, please lower the shutters once the sun is shining on the terrace, and open the windows at night. In winter, please keep the windows closed and the shutters open during the day to benefit from natural heating. However, if you're too cold, you can make reasonable use of the bathroom towel warmer and the radiator in the living room. Non-naturist Nordic bath: The gîte is equipped with a wood-heated Nordic bath. Its use is subject to reservation and cannot be prepared alone. Only gîte guests have access. The charge is 45 euros per 2-hour session, to be chosen between 6pm and 10pm and scheduled at the time of booking. The Nordic bath is installed in the open air, overlooking the private terrace. In compliance with hygiene regulations for collective spas, the water is treated without chlorine and filtered with quartz sand. Showering is compulsory before entering the bath, and lovemaking is forbidden.
