Villa Thamyris, located 20 minutes from Ajaccio's Napoleon Bonaparte airport, and its host Patrick, welcome you with simplicity in an ideal vacation environment, whether you stay in the Hercule or Apollon room (for up to two people), or in the Hadrien suite (for up to four people). If you want to relax by the pool, go to a gay or classic beach, go on excursions, enjoy Corsican gastronomy, do some sport or just wander around Corsica, Villa Thamyris is for you!

Come and relax by the pool at Villa Thamyris in an unostentatious, gay-friendly atmosphere. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Ajaccio and the Sanguinaires Islands, and take part in the fitness sessions if you've chosen this option. You can also go swimming at the large Agosta beach, just ten minutes away on foot, or enjoy the naturist beach of Capitello, less than ten minutes away by car. Visit the imperial city of Ajaccio, with its museums and gourmet restaurants. Explore the peninsulas of Isolella, Castagne or Capu di Muro, with their many coves and sandy beaches, such as Mare E Sole. Go for a swim in the Tolla lake, take a boat to the Sanguinaires islands or enjoy the heavenly Capo di Feno beach to the west of Ajaccio... and so many other places to visit or discover in the vicinity of Villa Thamyris!

If you don't mind a bit of driving, South Corsica also offers access to the magnificent gulf of Propriano, the magical town of Bonifacio and its gypsum cliffs in the very south of the island. A little further east, you'll arrive at the renowned beaches of the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio. Heading north by road or sea, stop off at the unmissable Gulf of Porto and admire the calanques of Piana. Push a little further north to discover the picturesque fishing village of Girolata and the extraordinary Scandola nature reserve. Then Haute Corse is not far away, with the splendid sites of Calvi and Île Rousse. If you're a nature lover with a penchant for authentic, unspoilt sites, these excursions are sure to please.

But you can also simply enjoy Villa Thamyris, where the rooms have ample storage space, a fan (even if the heat in Corsica is never scorching), a bathroom with shower-equipped toilet, and direct access to the terrace and swimming pool. A shared kitchen and outdoor living space, like the terrace and pool, are perfect for getting to know fellow travelers. A continental breakfast, agreed in advance, is prepared for you by your host every morning (included in the price). Towels, sheets, toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo, beach umbrellas and board games are provided by Villa Thamyris.

Agosta beach, several restaurants and the main stores (supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, tobacconist) are less than a quarter of an hour's walk from the house. The LGBT-friendly Capitello naturist beach is a 10-minute drive from the house.
