The Reveal
Bright spacious apartment (top floor (3rd), no lift) in Ghent at 5 minutes cycling from Dampoort railway station and 10 min. from the historic center. The recently renovated kitchen is the cherry on the pie of a very stylish flat with all necessary mod cons. I offer you a single guest room with access to the balcony. The balcony room has a comfy single mattress on a latoflex on the floor. I also have a bike available.

I'm an energetic, spontaneous easy going guy who works in tourism. I gladly help you with planning your trip to our country and region. I speak 6 languages so it is hard to get lost in translation. I live in a nice apartment with lots of light and great views at merely 10 minutes cycling from the historic center. I bought my flat 10 years ago and renovated it thoroughly. My house is your house! That's my motto and I like pampering guests. I decided to start a profile here as that other mainstream international b&b site lost it's original sense of community building. It has become a booking site where the spirit of hosting someone and having real, personal and genuine contact and exchange got lost.

Wonderful relaxing and welcoming space close to transportation. Pedro is the most gracious host and wonderful to connect with about the city and life in general. Honestly, I'd stay again in a heartbeat. He is a wealth of knowledge about Ghent and Belgium in general and is exuberant and passionate about his love for the city. Wonderful human. Thanks for the great stay!

A real pleasant stay at Pedro's wonderful apartment in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The apartment is as accurate as the pictures; it's clean, spacious, well thought out and nicely decorated. Pedro is very caring and welcoming and will go out of his way to make you feel comfortable and at home. He gives great advice on locations to see, to eat and also where to get the best Belgian chocolates. He was an absolute joy talking to. Would stay here again if I ever find myself in Ghent.

This being my first visit to Ghent, It was a fortunate choice staying with Pedro: along with the spotless accommodations, chatting with and getting to know Pedro was a fascinating experience and his knowledge of Ghent - and other topics - made for a more than pleasurable stay. I just wished I could have moved in! :-)

Pedro's place was perfect: the whole apartment was clean and spacious, and the room itself was super chill and relaxing. Not directly in the center of town but near enough for bus transport to be super convenient. Quaint and peaceful neighborhood. I definitely got to rest well after going to raves for two nights straight. Most importantly, Pedro was welcoming, kind, and just all around an amazing guy. Excellent communication too. I feel lucky to have met Pedro and to have been hosted by him.

Pedro is a nice person; he is direct and provides clear instructions about the rules and check-in processes. His house is spacious, clean, and located in a pleasant neighborhood with bus access to the city center. I highly recommend it.
