Old Lille room with private terrace

I had a wonderful stay in Lille. The hosts were charming and very welcoming, Bertrand was especially generous with his time in offering helpful tips on getting around the city and suggesting interesting places to visit. His recommendations were much appreciated and really helped me make the most of my time there. I didn’t feel awkward despite my lack of French language comprehension. Unfortunately my schedule in Lille was quite packed, so I didn’t get to spend as much time chatting with the hosts as I would have liked. I wasn’t entirely sure how much interaction they usually prefer to have with their guests. That said, they were always warm, friendly, and approachable whenever we crossed paths. They were extremely generous and flexible with check-in/out times. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and an excellent base for exploring Lille. The room was comfortable and I would happily stay again and would definitely recommend it to other travellers. One thing of note if you are driving; there’s no free parking other than on the streets later on in the day. There are a few lots close by, the one I used charged €17 per 24 hours (actually not bad compared to Vancouver parking rates but an extra cost to factor in for longer stays).

Had a wonderful time. The room was amazing. Beautiful veranda with a cute small table and chairs to work at during the day or sip on your cup of coffee or tea. Bonus, they had a coffee maker inside the room, which was very much appreciated. The condo is in a beautiful neighborhood super close to shops, cafes and restaurants. About 10 minute walk to the main town square or Old Lille. I really enjoyed it and hope to stay again. The hosts super friendly, helpful and respectful.

Apartment in the city center, but quiet. Near the Citadelle, the belfry of the town hall, the Grand Place and Old Lille as well as the Fine Arts Museum. Perfectly clean. Recommended for a city stay.

Really wonderful stay with Bertrand and Thomas. The apartment is in a great central, yet quiet, location, and has great natural light and wonderful views. The bedroom is well-appointed with a very comfortable bed and some thoughtful snacks and water left daily. Thomas welcomed me warmly and he and Bertrand were friendly and took great interest in my comfort during my stay.

Bertrand and Thomas were wonderful hosts. Their apartment is amazing: it's beautiful with lots of space. It is right across from a lovely park. The location is ideal--close to Vieux Lille and the Citadel. It's very clean and the bedroom is spacious. I was in town for a conference, so I didn't get to spend as much time as I would like with them, but they were very accommodating. Highly recommend.
