Room on the roofs of Paris in the center

I had three wonderful days at Marc's spacious and well decorated two-floor flat in the heart of Paris. The Arts et Métiers neighbourhood is lively with some excellent bistros for lunch, dinner or a late night snack. The street itself however is rather quiet, so perfect for a good night sleep. The room itself is cosy, conveniently across the hall from the bathroom, and it has a good-sized desk - ideal for freelancers like myself to do some work in the morning before enjoying the Parisian life. It was also a pleasure to share the flat with Marc. He is a very friendly and caring host, who made sure that my stay was very comfortable. He even was so kind to come out for a few drinks with me on the first night, introducing me to the bars of Le Marais.
