In the immediate vicinity of the apartment, you can stroll along the terraces of the bars and restaurants on Place Saint-Michel, grab a bite to eat or buy fruit and vegetables at the Capucins market, sunbathe, jog, cycle or rollerblade along the quays in the direction of the Cité du Vin, via the miroir d'eau, Place de la Bourse and the Quinconces. For a more student-oriented atmosphere, head for Place de la Victoire, and if you're a shopper, head for the Golden Triangle district via Rue Sainte-Catherine. From the triangle d'or (opera house, cours de l'intendance, cours and place Gambetta, allées de Tourny), take a stroll through the public gardens, a haven of peace, then explore the Chartons district (boutiques, restaurants, antique shops...). If you prefer to take the streetcar, line B is 5 minutes away (Place de la Victoire), line C and line D are also 5 minutes away (on the platforms), and will take you to Gare Saint-Jean, and line A is 8 minutes away (Cours Alsace-Lorraine, Place du Palais stop) and will take you either to the airport, or to the Bastide district (right bank of Bordeaux, from where you can discover the left bank and the Saint-Michel spire, from the terrace of a bar, in the setting sun).
