Private bedroom in sunny north Oakland home

Zain's place is lovely and has so much character. There's vibrant art, cool books, incense, plants (and hummingbirds!). I really liked the setup. I was only in for a short trip and had to work a fair amount, but I did get to spend a little time with Zain. In the conversations we had, I found him to be such an interesting, genuine, and kind person. He really went out of his way to be helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay again if he would have me.

I can't say enough great things about this wonderful place! Zain is the perfect host; friendly, thoughtful, and full of helpful information. You want to know where to eat, just ask him! I felt so at home here, so much so that I'm looking forward to coming back. His home is full of light and airy, with an incredibly welcoming vibe. The bed is incredibly comfortable and you have everything you need including an amazing bathroom! The location is perfect. You can walk to so many wonderful places all within just a few minutes, shops and restaurants alike. Not too far from Oakland airport, and close to Berkeley as well in case you're in the mood for some additional amazing restaurants. I highly suggest staying here, you won't regret it!

My stay at Zain's condo was a very positive experience. I contacted him same day and he was prompt to approve and inform when he was free for me to check in. The area where he lived felt safe with plenty of parking available. There is a delicious cafe to which I walked for breakfast a short distance away. The condo's shared living area was open and spacious and Zain's personality made it feel very comfortable. The room and private bathroom was nice, bed slept well, and it really met my needs. I enjoyed some conversations with Zain and he provided me with some helpful local knowledge on great places to visit. I would highly recommend Zain's place as a great choice to stay in the East Bay.

Zain was personable and made me feel welcome. His place is accessible by bus to Berkeley.

Zain was a great host. He was available in case I needed him but also gave me my space. He made me the best espresso I've ever had and also home made scones. Zain is a very interesting guy and I enjoyed staying with him. It felt very comfortable.

I only stayed one night but The place itself was gorgeous-very clean,lots of space,with a beautiful patio out back to enjoy. And Zain is wonderful host. So kind and generous.you definitely need to stay here on your next trip to Berkeley
