Marc·5·Jul. 2024· "Mike's guest room is very comfortable with a comfortable double bed, a good WiFi connection, a table with a small flat screen T.V. that works well and electric outlets as well as a window that looks out onto a usually quiet residential street from the upper floor of the house. The entire house is very clean and attractive with a nice terrace backyard behind the house which unfortunately I could not use very much due to unseasonal cool, rainy weather during much of my stay in early July. The bathroom set aside for exclusive use by the guest is very clean, located just off the kitchen/dining area on the ground floor. I used the kitchen to prepare breakfasts and some lunches during my stay. Coffee, tea, bread and cereal were provided. I was able to store some food in the refrigerator which was very convenient. Highgate Underground Station is only a 6-7 min. walk away from the house which is located in a pleasant, very green part of north London. Mike, the host, communicated well up to check-in, we had a nice and interesting chat about all sorts of things the day of my arrival, and I offered him some support when he revealed that his beloved dog named Sausage was ill. After my first of 8 days at Mike's place, he kept to himself mostly the rest of the time, seeming to prefer very little communication from then onwards which was a bit surprising. I tried to make a bit of friendly conversation a few times when we saw one another but Mike seemed to want very little interaction even when he was relaxing in the living room so I left him his space, using only the kitchen when needed. I recommend this guest accommodation for comfort, convenience and if you don't mind having very little interaction with the host after your day of arrival. However, it is possible that the grieving process for Mike's pet dog influenced his moods during my stay. As a pet lover, I can understand that well, if that was the case."

The room was very comfortable, and waking up to the view of the quiet garden and the terrace shaded by that magnificent centenary fig tree was so peaceful. And those figs? Absolutely delicious! Fresh from the tree or in the great jams Vincent is doing with them.
Vincent was genuinely nice and incredibly helpful, providing me with some fantastic tips for exploring the city. I really appreciated his hospitality. Highly recommend!"

Gerry·5·Sep. 2021· "We were greeted at the main gate by Geoff and Randy. Both very polite and we felt welcomed on the spot. Our cottage style house had it all. Roomy living quarters with the works. We felt at home. We were shown around the property surrounded by mountains and their multiple fruit orchards. It was impressive !!
We had a potluck supper that was an outdoor feast.
Geoff and Randy were perfect hosts. We would definitely stay at their farmhouse/cottage again. We recommend this property."

From the moment I walked through the gate into a meticulously maintained yard to the moment I left, I felt nothing but welcomed. These guys are so wonderful with communication and making sure their guests are comfortable and have everything they need. 5-stars for everything, but I have to tell you, the pictures do not do justice for how well appointed and maintained everything is. Best experience I've ever had."

Then the level of professionalism and guest satisfaction jumps through the roof, quick to offer a welcome cuppa (always a winner with me), and given a tour of the accommodation, which is perfectly clean and maintained, lovely fresh sheets and a very nice hot shower too. The location is idyllic if there to explore (unfortunately I was in the area for work) but would highly recommend to visitors as a lovely base in a beautiful area of the Cotswolds. I will certainly be back again to experience such a wonderful host and his amazing hospitality. Many thanks again."

The apartment is super well located, very close to chapinero and all the gay bars and clubs while at the same time having very quick access to the galerias area where you have shops, supermarkets and anything you need.
I felt safe at all times. The block even had a small gym with the essentials to train. A great stay, thank you!"
