Sean·5·Dec. 2025· "Rein and Simon welcomed me with warm hospitality—and their pups, Flip and Klaartje, were just as charming. The cozy spot on Beethovenstraat made it super easy to zip to Station Zuid (to/from AMS) and hop on trams to explore the city. I was in town to wander and work, and I explored Amsterdam end to end—Bos, VUmc, West, Oud-West, Westerpark, NDSM, Noord, Weesperzijde, De Pijp, Centrum. My daily routine became coffeecompany (across the street) and Albert Heijn (around the corner). This was my first time to Amsterdam in November, so coming home to a warm, private room (with the comfiest antique sleigh bed!) and bathroom was perfect. Rein and Simon are globe-trotters with great stories—can't wait to visit again and swap more adventures."

NEEDLESS TO SAY there's nothing this place doesn't offer. The amazing communication with Doug to the extra care at checkout (later flight departure) and EVERYTHING in between. Would definitely recommend and plan to return to this location as idk if you can get closer to "the drive" than this. ✅ HIM OUT!!!"

Fred·5·May. 2026· "I had a great experience at Marcelo's! He is very prompt in communicating and getting back with his guests regarding whatever they need. His apartment was accurately described, comfortable and welcoming. He needed to be very patient with me because I am just learning Spanish and could not communicate with him except by using a handheld translator app. But he was so thoughtful, he went way out of his way to introduce a good friend of his to me that speaks English. We hit it off right away, and I hope that Marcelo, his friend Hector and I will continue developing our friendship! Especially as I lean some Espańol! I would highly recommend this host and the hospitality he offers. Thank you, Marcelo!!!"

Although we barely overlapped due to schedules, he was always looking out for us and responded immediately to every question, giving us very good recommendations and making our stay easier. The room was comfortable, very clean and peaceful, and the communication with the city center and the airport is perfect. Plus, he was thoughtful enough to store our luggage on the last day. We would definitely stay with him again."

The place is incredibly clean, there is a small pool, everyone is so helpful, for a little extra you can have breakfast and AC in the the room, they help me with the transportation from and to the airport! It really was such a great experience, im not gonna lie to you, getting there speciall if this is your first time is intense, the streets are quiete stressful but you will be right in the middle of the crazyness! And experience authentic, traditional Marrakech! Thank you for an amazing stay, when i come back i definitely stay here again!"

The accommodation is spotless, with a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, a small lounge and access to the garden and hot tub plus a lovely fresh continental breakfast. I arrived as a guest and left as a friend. Martin and James are so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I could not praise them more. Thank you boys for a perfect stay.

The steam shower and in room coffee are a plus. I enjoyed having a drink relaxing in the hot tub after a long day. Would definitely stay again when in the area."
