Juan ramĆ³nĀ·5Ā·Oct. 2026Ā·Ā "I had a wonderful few days staying with Joachim and Frode, and I have truly fond memories of my stay. From the very beginning, they were very kind and welcoming, and they made me feel completely at home.
The apartment is beautiful, clean, quiet, and very well-maintained. The room is very comfortable, and having a private bathroom was a huge plus. The bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub, and everything has been renovated. They let you use the coffee maker, the refrigerator, and so on.
I also really liked the neighborhood: itās pleasant, full of charm, and makes it easy to get to downtown and get around Oslo, since bus 37 stops right below the buildingāa bus comes every 5 minutes, and in just 5 stops youāre in the city center. The terrace is absolutely fantastic, and from there you can see the Royal Palace and the ski jump at Holmenkollen.
Joachim and Frode were always available to help me and gave me great recommendations on what to visit, how to get around the city, and where to go. They even called a place where I couldnāt make a reservation online and sorted out the problem for me. You can tell they enjoy hosting people and making their guests feel at home.
It was a very positive experience, not only because of the accommodations, but also because I got to meet them. Iāll return to Oslo when a museum thatās currently closed reopens, and Iāll stay with them again. I recommend them without a doubt. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Frode and Joachim! "

When I arrived he met me at the train station. He was very flexible with check-in time (the flight was an hour late at night) and check-out. The house overlooks the fjord with a stunning view. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel completely at home. They are incredibly warm, kind, welcoming, and genuinely lovely people. Their beautiful home is comfortable, spotless, and in a great location for exploring Oslo, but what truly makes this place special are the hosts themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations and appreciated all their local recommendations and hospitality.
And then there is Ludwig, their gorgeous dog, who is an absolute superstar and will undoubtedly steal your heart the moment you meet him! š¾ā¤
This was my very first Mister B&B experience, and I honestly couldnāt have wished for better hosts. Olav and Per set the bar incredibly high. I arrived as a guest and left feeling like I had made new friends.

The accommodation and the location were even better than I had imagined. Everything was clean, well organized, and exactly as described. I would definitely recommend staying here.
I especially enjoyed our conversations and the time we spent together. At the same time, I never felt pressured or obligated to do anything. Steinar struck the perfect balance between being friendly and giving me the freedom and privacy to follow my own routine.
