The crystal clear waters of the Lac du Salagou make it a great place to swim, and if you're looking for a gay beach on the lake's shores, head to Plage des Celles. As the name would suggest, the gay beach is located by the town of Celles, which is a 45-minute drive from Montpellier.

Calanque des Anthenors, also known as Plage Naturiste des Figuières, is a secluded naturist beach near Marseille located close to Ensuès-la-Redonne on the beautiful Côte Bleue. Just 20 km from Marseille, this hidden Mediterranean calanque is a favorite spot for naturists seeking a peaceful escape surrounded by unspoiled coastal landscapes.

Berck's long, sandy naturist beach is the only one of its kind in the north of the country, making it the region's main meeting place. Gays gather in the dunes near the blockhouse.
