I'm a single gay man who has lived in Oakland for about 25 years, and have owned my home here for the last 15. I've been employed full-time as a contract technical writer since 1997. My line of work allows me to work from home. I raised my two sons here in Oakland, and they are now grown and moved out. I'm taking advantage of my "empty nest" to explore some different parts of the country and the world. As a parent and homeowner, I'm responsible, clean, and quiet. This was a perfect space for me while having a short stay in Oakland. Joe was a great host, offering me restaurant and bar suggestions. He also helped me navigate the town. The space is small but clean and cute (and a great price!) I would definitely stay here again!

Great!!! Fantastic stay Be aware that there's no bathroom inside of the shed. But you can chat with the host (Joseph was super nice and friendly) about that. The location is great (very close to a bart stop) and it was small and very cheap!
