For weekend travelers who want a quiet space that's close to everything - this room in the upstairs unit of my house is waiting for you!
Your space: A small private room with a chair that folds out to a twin bed. Thick mattress topper and bedding for a comfortable sleep.
Shared spaces with owner: Living room, dining room/office, kitchen, full bath, small home gym, and best of all...balcony/deck just outside your room!
Please note that access to the deck is through the room, so owner will be going in and out during your stay. Also, there is a privacy curtain for the room but no door - the unit is on an open plan, and only the bathroom has locking doors.
No smoking of any kind indoors or on the deck.
Plenty of street parking with no restrictions on weekends. Contact me with any questions!

This is a residential neighborhood, fairly quiet. House is just off 40th Street so some traffic noise.
Oakland's Temescal and Uptown districts are within walking distance, and a major BART transit station (with trains to Berkeley and SF) is less than two blocks away. Ramps to major freeways are less than five minutes away.
Downtown Oakland now hosts six LGBTQ+ bars, and the White Horse on the Berkeley border makes seven. You can walk or easily BART/car share to the whole LGBTQ+ scene from this location!
Parking is limited to two hours during the week. From Monday-Friday, you need to move your car to a non-permit zone between 10AM and 4PM. No restrictions on weekends. Visitor parking permits are available for $50 per month (or $25 for 14 days). I need to order them at least a month in advance. Please message me if interested. There is also unrestricted parking within a few blocks of the house. I can provide a map.
