Large room with a double bed, a desk, a big closet, and a living space with a seat and a lamp. The room is not air-conditioned, but has a ceiling fan, and the temperature is pleasant for sleeping during the summer.
The apartment has a shared kitchen, bathroom, and patio, which would be shared with me and potentially other guests.
The apartment is located in El Rastro area, so the biggest street market in Spain takes place just around the corner. It is also in between the beautiful neighborhoods of La Latina and Lavapiés, where there is a very lively atmosphere day and night. There are many bars, gyms, libraries, and supermarkets near the apartment.
Within a 5-minute walk you can reach subway lines 3 and 5, as well as multiple bus lines. Within a 20-minute walk you can get to subway lines 1 and 2, Reina Sofía Museum, Puerta del Sol, Barrio de las Letras, Atocha Train Station (the main train station in the city where you can catch regional and nationals train to anywhere in Spain), Madrid Río (a beautiful park by the riverside).

In the neighborhood there are many gay friendly locals and several parties. There are many nice bars and restaurants around, I can recommend some :) It is also in the center of the cultural scene of the city. You can walk to the main museums and theaters of Madrid.
