🏳🌈 My accommodation is located in Lavapiés, one of the most diverse, open and vibrant neighborhoods in Madrid. From here you can walk to many of the city's main points of interest, such as Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, the Reina Sofia Museum or the Madrid de los Austrias.
For LGBTQ+ travelers, the location is ideal. Chueca, Madrid's best-known gay district, is just a few minutes away by metro or a 20-minute walk. You will also find nearby bars, cafes, restaurants and LGBTQ+ spaces in Lavapiés as well as in the center.
In the neighborhood you can enjoy a wide range of international cuisine, charming terraces, alternative venues, art galleries and a lively cultural life. Some of my recommendations are to stroll through the Mercado de San Fernando, discover the multicultural streets of Lavapiés and enjoy the atmosphere of La Latina and Chueca.
If you are looking for a comfortable stay, in an authentic, diverse and gay-friendly area, this is an excellent starting point to discover Madrid. 🌈✨
