The Reveal
We are happy to share our apartment with you. Most of the time, we will be busy with our daily lives, work, and other activities. However, we will try to help you with anything you need to know to ensure you have the best experience Amsterdam can offer.
Our apartment is centrally located in the Jordaan. It’s a 10-minute walk to the central station, a 3-minute walk to Westerpark, and a 15-minute walk to Dam Square. Shops, bars, and restaurants are just around the corner. There is a tram and bus stop 200 meters from the front door. All major attractions in Amsterdam can be reached within 30 minutes on foot. If you rent a bike like we Dutch do, you’ll be only 10 minutes away from everywhere.
You will be sleeping on our very comfortable couch in the living room. The bathroom is attached to our bedroom, and the toilet is separate. Please keep in mind that there isn't a lot of privacy. Most of the amenities you are used to at home can be found in our apartment. We will provide sheets, a duvet, a cushion, and towels.
Since we will be sharing the space together, we do not take bookings for more than 5 nights. We only accommodate one guest at a time. So if you are traveling with someone else, we’re sorry, but the apartment just isn't big enough. We ask you to be flexible with check-in. If we are at work, we can't let you into the apartment. Check-in will be in the evening when we return from work.

Every visitor to Amsterdam is required to pay a tourist tax. This tax is NOT included in your Misterb&b booking and must be paid separately. The tourist tax rate in Amsterdam is 12.5% of the booking cost. We kindly ask that you transfer this amount to our bank account before your arrival. Please avoid requesting a full or partial refund if you have to cancel at the last minute. The couch is difficult to rebook, and I don't want to feel like a bad person by denying a refund. Please familiarize yourself with the cancellation policy for the couch you are booking. If you need a more flexible arrangement because your plans are not fixed, message me beforehand and we can work something out. Please be respectful and clean up after yourself. Smoking is only allowed outside. No parties. No guests when I'm not at home. No pets. Lights out/quiet time is at 12 a.m. Please have a lot of fun in Amsterdam. It's a fantastic place.

It was really great at Patrick's place. He is such a warmhearted, friendly person, I felt comfortable right away. The accommodation was beautiful, very cozily furnished. A wonderful stay in an exciting city.

Patrick was a very attentive and knowledgeable host. I had a very pleasant stay at his place. My trip was both for business and leisure, and I particularly liked the very central location and the convenience of having everything within walking distance, and the proximity of countless transportation options.

A perfect place to stay for a solo traveller. The space was immaculate and as described. Patrick made me feel like I was staying with a friend and gave great advice on nearby pubs and bars. No stress being naked and comfortable either. Fantastic

Patrick and his flat are perfect, easy to commute around, and Patrick is so helpful with trips and directions to all the places to go and see. The flat is immaculate and comfy, and I will be booking again soon.

Great location with wonderful hosts. Lots of cafes, shops, etc very nearby. There is a bike rental place a block away (probably tip: definitely rent a bike—so much easier and flexible to get around). The space is exactly as advertised. The couch was comfortable and the hosts were very friendly and helpful with local suggestions, how to get around, etc.

What wonderful hosts. The apartment is centrally located, on a relatively quiet street but very close to all the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful in providing information about things to do in the area. Had delightful interesting conversations and being naked in the apartment was absolutely no problem. Top address.

I am really glad Patrick and Ömer were able to host me again. Easy to communicate with, easy & relaxing to be around, and overall really great guys. Nice and clean apartment in a nice neighbourhood and with a short walking distance from the touristy centre, museums and shopping areas. Perfect location. Highly recommended and I will definitely be back again.
